Well done to our younger fencers who took part in the junior beginners – Bethany, Heyton, Paige and Thomas. For two of them it was their first ever competitive experience (always a bit nerve-wracking for all concerned) – some really good fencing all round, congrats to all!
In the 13+ competition, we had 3 representatives – Francisco, Nathan and Ryan. New experiences all round, whether it was competing, fencing against people outside their age group or even a completely new weapon! Again, some really good performances, with Francisco our only medallist – a well-earned bronze.
Our next regional competition is for fencers aged 10-17 as of 1st January – the EM qualifier for the British Youth Championship, taking place on 25th January. Entries are open: https://bf.sport80.com/public/wizard/e/39643
