Entries are open for the EM British Youth Championship qualifier

Entries are now open for the East Midlands region’s qualifier for the British Youth Championships (BYC). The BYC is an annual event for fencers aged between 10 and 17, taking place in early May, where young fencers come from all over the country to compete.

Each qualifier runs categories for U12, U14, U16 and U18 fencers in all 3 weapons, though sometimes those categories may be combined (U12/U14 and U16/U18) to ensure plenty of fencing on the day.

Age groups are determined by age as of 1st January 2025 and all fencers taking part must have Compete membership of British Fencing.
